Commonly used for sketching and figure drawing, Derwent Drawing Pencils have a creamy consistency with soft, thick, extra-wide, round leads for a rich, velvety finish on paper. The core is ideal for blending with a somewhat bolder line than standard colored pencils. Dense color can be built up, layered and blended to create extra hues and shades. Vary the color strength from faint to bold by increasing or decreasing pressure.
